Carolina Sá
Earth Observation Officer
Carolina is the project officer of the Agency for Earth Observation. She comes from the Marine Sciences world and was led into the satellite remote sensing sphere by her will to study microscopic aquatic plants (i.e. phytoplankton) from a different perspective — from Space! She specialized in Ocean Colour remote sensing and worked as a researcher for more than 10 years, focusing on satellite data validation activities and applications to promote and support the Blue economy. Her aim now is to bridge the gap between Earth Observation research and applications, science and industry, technology and society.
She hates to talk about herself in the third person, but she loves a good trekking!
