Filipa Lourenço has been working in the space sector for a decade and her goal has always been the same: to help Portugal become more and more established in space. She joined the Portuguese Space Agency in 2023 to continue this mission as a Space Transportation Officer.

With a Master’s degree in Physics Engineering and a PDE from AESE Business School – IESE Associate School, Filipa has accompanied the growth of the space industry in Portugal, playing an active role, both technically and managerially, in various areas of space, optics, propulsion and space debris management.

She describes herself as a person who is motivated by turning ideas into concrete results and who finds her balance in nature – whether on the beach or in the mountains, her favorite places to relax.
