A tough little cookie, Mónica has been in the workforce for more than 20 years. Although her field isn’t Space, her eyes have searched the stars her whole life. With a degree in Psychology, her professional path was very diverse, helping her develop a constellation of skills.

Her best personal achievement was creating an improved version of herself in the form of her daughter — maybe the first Portuguese astronaut.
